IATA Refresher Dangerous Goods Regulations for Cat. 1 & 3 Personnel* - 3 days
This course is for Shippers and Forwarders who wish to renew their qualification for handling dangerous goods for air export and signing the Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods.
Participants will learn how to:
| - reference the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations manual |
| - choose the appropriate container for air transportation |
| - package DG correctly and prepare documentation and labelling for DG shipment; |
Prerequisite: participants must have presivouly taken the Basic Dangerrous Goods Regulations course and passed the DG exam |

IATA Dangerous Goods Awareness for Cat. 4 & 5 Personnel* - 0.5 day
*Category 4 personnel of freight forwarders are those involved in processing air cargo (other than DG), i.e. those involved in DIRECT CHECKING of packaging, marking, labelling and documentation of cargo consignments.
*Category 5 personnel of freight forwarders are those involved in handling, storage or loading of any air cargo. |

Mandatory for shippers, forwarders, agents and airline personnel who wish to become qualified to handle DG to be transported by air.
| We use the latest IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations which is based on the 2017-18 edition of ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air. |

In addition, our Basic and Refresher DG courses will review the restrictions on transportation of UN 3480 lithium ion batteries on passenger aircraft and state of charge requirement which have been applicable since 1 April 2016.
