Chem Freight Hong Kong Ltd. is an IATA and FIATA Accredited Training School specialising in programmes to promote the safe and efficient transport of dangerous goods (DG) air cargo. All of our courses comply with ICAO requirements and are approved by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD).
Founded in 2005, Chem Freight Hong Kong Ltd. is dedicated to the promotion of safety in air transportation through offering the most up-to-date IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training to shippers, forwarders, agents and air transport providers. in 2012, with the launch of the ICAO/FIATA Dangerous Goods by Air Training Programme, we became the first DG Regulations training institute to offer FIATA/ICAO's Dangerous Goods by Air training.
Apart from Dangerous Goods Regulations training the local freight forwarding sector has come to rely on, we are also a founding member of DG Packaging Hong Kong, a company specialising in UN boxes, packages for infectious substances and temperature sensitive material, IATA hazard and handling labels as well as IMDG container placards. The company is a one-stop shop for shippers, forwarders and agents for dangerous goods packing material for air transportation.
All our instructors are accredited by IATA and have many years of experience in handling DG for air export, as well as advising airlines in devising strategies and regulations for the acceptance of dangerous goods offered as air cargo. Their credentials are particularly important in this specialised area where experience in successfully processing dangerous goods for air export is just as important as knowledge of the rules and regulations.
Since we started offering dangerous goods regulations programmes in 2005, we have conducted over 760 Dangerous Goods classes and helped over 2000 logistics industry professionals gain ICAO/IATA/FIATA qualification to handle dangerous goods. Our clients include airlines, air transport companies, shippers of dangerous goods and freight forwarders; many of the largest companies in the freight forwarding industry are our regular customers.
